STEELHEAD OUTING
WINTER LEG RESULTS

The Winter Leg of the Championship Series Steelhead Outing was held on 8 December 2013. Sunday’s weather forecast called for temperatures in the high twenties with winds from the southeast at 7 mph and overcast skies. All in all a cold day to be on the streams. The East side streams had good flow rates, with little to no slush and good visibility. However the water temperature was just above freezing at 33 degrees F. All the Western tributaries had low flow rates.

A total 17 fish were checked in by ten Steelheaders . All the fish checked in came from the Eastern tributaries.

Congratulations’ to Adam Hillman, Tom Krause and John Smoggie who placed first, second and third respectively.
