OCBS CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES STEELHEAD OUTING
WINTER LEG RESULTS
The Winter leg of the Championship Series Steelhead Outing was held on Sunday 14 December 2014. A mild overcast day with the major tributaries in good shape and holding fair numbers of fresh fish.
A total of fifteen fish measuring 24 “ in length or greater were checked in by eleven anglers. The majority of anglers reported that they landed good numbers of fish but only fourteen fish meet the 24” minimum length requirement.
Congratulations to Ken Harper who placed first with two fish totaling 51.75 inches in length. Chris Bryda came in second with a two fish totaling 51.5 inches in length and Phil Hilman placed third with two fish totaling 51.0 “ in length.
All fish were caught in the east side tributaries.
The Spring leg of the Championship Series will be held on Sunday 15 March 2015. Be sure to mark your calendar for this event.
