The second leg of the OCBS Members Only Steelhead Tournament was held on Sunday November 24, 2019.

A partly cloudy day with temperatures in the low forties. The West side streams were running low. The East side streams had adequate flow and this is where the savvy angles fished.

Large numbers of fish were not in the streams as stream temps were in the high thirties compared to lake temps in the mid-forties. Larger numbers of steelhead are staged on the Lake’s shoreline and at river mouths. When the Lake cools down a big push of fish can be expected.

A total of 28 fish over 24-inches long were checked in during the tournament day.

Congratulations to Adam Hillman who placed first with two fish measuring 29.50″ and 27.25″ inches respectively. The majority of fish were caught in Conneaut Creek.

Tournament Leg #3 will be on
December 15, 2019 from 6:00a- 4:00p
