Another year has passed us by. Let us forget yesterday’s failures and get ready to face the challenges of the future. All the best for a Happy New Year to you and your families and we hope that it brings new opportunities, and challenges to all of us. May the new year give you many opportunities to fish steelhead, walleye, bass, and even bluegill. Hopefully there will be many and they will be large! Happy New Year!!!

kevin kayle 2Kevin Kayle IS OUR JANUARY SPEAKER @ THE FIREHOUSE

Kevin Kayle, Fish Biology Supervisor, Fairport Harbor Fisheries Research Station is our speaker at our January 22nd, 2015 membership meeting at the firehouse in Willoughby Hills.

It is shaping up to be an excellent Steelhead Season, as we have warmer weather now at Christmas Time, but this is Ohio and things can change quickly. There are many reports of decent runs of Steelhead in all our river at this writing. Some of the bigger Manistee are starting to show up. Last year we were locked in by heavy snows and freezing temps. Let’s hope it doesent change to this weather pattern again!

Kevin will bring us up to date concerning the current state of the steelhead program and answer any questions we may have. He always has great programs and a lot of information.
